"Ms Barker brought to the school a high level of knowledge and personal expertise.
She thoroughly planned and successfully implemented the elective Dance Program for Years 8 to 10. As groups were small, Ms Barker developed an effective system concentrationg on performance and composition in "Face to Face" lessons and appreciation in "Non Face to Face" lessons.
This illustrates her thorough planning, marking and professional approach to lesson preparation where goals are clearly identified and sequential skill development adequately achieved. Results were carefully evaluated and follow up adequately planned.
In 1990 Ms Barker successfully implemented a dance unit for Year 7 P.E. Students and from this established dance classes."
